devolo at Network X

From 14 to 16 October, devolo solutions GmbH will be presenting smart solutions for high-speed Internet at the Network X industry trade fair. The networking specialists will be presenting a large portfolio that ranges from state-of-the-art Wi-Fi 7 routers, mesh systems and repeaters, to the latest Powerline technology. The German company will use its presence at the trade fair to show how a robust Internet connection can be implemented with the new range of Wi-Fi 7 products and state-of-the-art Powerline solutions for Internet service providers, industry partners and providers of EV charging stations.

Wi-Fi 7 routers and mesh systems

With the new router models, devolo underscores its claim to be a complete home networking provider that provides all components from a single source – for Wi-Fi which is perfectly in tune. The Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers support the current Wi-Fi 7 standard (802.11be) and Wi-Fi 7 functions such as Multi-Link Operation, OFDMA, Multi-User MIMO and band steering. Client devices can also be connected via Ethernet ports (3 x 1 gigabit, 1 x 2.5 gigabit) using Ethernet cables. WPA 2 and WPA 3 enable secure data communication. The unobtrusive design of the devices makes them perfect for looking right at home in your living spaces, and they deliver strong bandwidths anywhere. The devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 enables Wi-Fi transmission speeds of up to 6500 Mbps. The devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Tri-Band has Tri-Band technology which brings it up to 9300 Mbps. Both models support 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz with bandwidths up to 320 MHz.

For customised building and expansion of home networks, these routers are offered in various packages: as an individual fibre-optic router, as mesh kits of 2 or 3 devices and as a separate mesh expansion kit. This way customers and partners can choose the package that fits best with their needs. The market launch for devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 and devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Tri-Band is scheduled for early 2026.

The new WiFi 6 Router 3600 5G LTE

The new devolo 5G router connects end devices to the Internet with Wi-Fi 6 quality anywhere a fast fixed-line connection is lacking. The mobile router uses in-house antennas to connect to 3G, 4G and 5G networks, offering numerous connection options. In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, the 5G router is also equipped with one 2.5-Gbps port and one 1-Gbps port. And the FXS port lets you connect directly to an analogue telephone. The devolo Home Network app with intuitive user interface is available at no cost for setting up and configuring the router.

Magic Powerline and Wi-Fi repeaters for easy expandability

The Powerline portfolio from devolo leads the market. The adapters of the Magic product series use the existing electrical wiring to bridge large distances effortlessly and make a high-bandwidth online connection available at the destination with option of using Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The new Magic 2 WiFi 6 next Powerline adapters enable client devices to be connected wirelessly at speeds of up to 3000 Mbps.

The Wi-Fi repeaters from devolo are the right choice for extending Wi-Fi over medium and shorter distances. The devolo WiFi 6 Repeater 3000 and devolo WiFi 6 Repeater 5400 combine mesh convenience with strong transfer rates and have already been honoured multiple times internationally by leading tech magazines.

Both repeaters and Powerline adapters are designed for easy and modular expansion of existing networks. They have no trouble integrating into existing networks, are compatible with all other current components from devolo and can be easily operated with the convenient devolo Home Network app (iOS, Android) for set-up and operation.

Efficient fibre-optic networking with the Giga Bridge

The devolo Giga Bridge brings gigabit speed directly to the router in homes with fibre-optic networking. Existing coaxial or telephone wiring is used for this, to transfer data at speeds of approximately 1 Gbps (net). Thus the Giga Bridge closes the gap which often exists between the fibre-optic end point and the router, without any need for laborious cable routing. The Giga Bridge is compatible with all common Internet routers and home gateways and enables high-performance network coverage throughout the entire home.

MultiNode LAN: better charging infrastructure with Powerline

devolo MultiNode LAN makes it significantly easier and less expensive to build and expand on charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The DIN-rail Powerline adapter has been developed specifically for networking AC charging points. Both hardware and software are customised for this use. The devolo MultiNode LAN can either be integrated directly into the wall box or installed in a separate fuse block. To do so, a central MultiNode LAN device is connected to a router via Ethernet. The devolo central control unit communicates with the other MultiNode LAN devices at the charging points via Powerline. In these cases, MultiNode acts as a repeater in the network and thereby increases the range in increments. This forms a Powerline network that supports over 100 charging points, which facilitates seamless expansion of a large charging infrastructure. The Powerline network is extremely robust. Additional charging points with other MultiNode LAN devices can be added at a later date without the need for additional structural measures. This scaling option is a crucial advantage, especially in multi-phase rollouts in which the parking area is equipped with charging points in several steps.
